Pioneers Compete at Last Chance Meet

The Alfred State women's track and field team competed at the last chance meet hosted by Nazareth College on Friday.

Alyssa Delany (Hornell) finished fourth in triple jump with a mark of 10.52 meters, was sixth in the 60-meter hurdles in 9.76 and 16^th in long jump with a mark of 4.83 meters.

Emma Taggart (New Windsor, MD/Francis Scott Key) placed sixth in high jump with a height of 1.51 meters.

Lily Schnell (Olean) finished ninth in triple jump with a mark of 9.98 meters and Sarah Daunce (Clifton Springs/Midlakes) was tenth with a mark of 9.81 meters.

Sarah Rivet (Waterford/Shenendehowa) was 12^th in the 400-meters in 1:04.41.

Nicole Hume (Alexander) finished 21^st in shot put (9.85 meters) and 28^th in weight throw (10.48 meters).

The Pioneers head to Nazareth for the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Championships (AARTFC) on March 4 and 5.
