Pioneers Placed 17th At The Yellowjacket Invitational

Rochester, NY- The Pioneers Women's Cross-Country team placed 17th out of 21 at the University of Rochester Yellowjacket Invitational.

Molly Kraynik was the first Pioneer finisher with a time of 26:43.8. She placed 151th overall and 42nd among other freshmen.

Isabelle Popoff was next with a time of 26:47.2 for 154th place. Olivia Plummer followed with a time of 26:59.0 for 160th place. Hailey Kumpf crossed the line next with a time of 27:15.9, while freshman Ethe Hemphill rounded out the Pioneer roster with a time of 31:08.5.

Alfred State will head to Roberts Wesleyan next weekend for the Harry F. Anderson Invite.

Andrew Zielinski was Alfred's highest finisher with a time of 29:50.0. He placed 165th overall and 57th against other freshmen.

Maxwell Chiarella ran a 30:04.6 to place 175th overall and 37th against other sophomores. Jayden Kamp was next with a time of 31:07.5, with Jeremy Pennock finishing a few seconds later with a time of 32:35.0. Carter Riley finished out the Pioneers top five with a time of 32:44.2.  

Aiden Bonomo and Christian Spreizer finished in 240th and 244th respectively to round out the ASC roster.

Alfred State will head to Roberts Wesleyan next weekend for the Harry F. Anderson Invite.
