Q & A with Megan: Featuring AJ Soto
Alfred State sport management major Megan Gridley recently interviewed senior lacrosse player AJ Soto in her fourth installment of Q & A with Megan. Soto and the Pioneers opened up their 2020 campaign last night. Soto has 58 career goals, 34 assists, and 92 points.
What is your dream job? Mechanical Engineer
What is your favorite thing about lacrosse? The fast pace play and the game allows players to be creative while still playing under a structured offense.
Who is your biggest motivator? My Brother Joe
If you could travel to anywhere in the world, where would it be? Puerto Rico
What is one thing you do after a good game or match? I rest and drink a lot of water. Lacrosse takes a toll on your body, so I try to take care of all the bumps and bruises.
What is your favorite thing about Alfred State? The small knit community.
Why did you choose Alfred State College for athletics and academics? I knew I wouldn't have a problem finding a job right out of school with an Alfred State degree. I also got to play my favorite sport in the process.
What is your go-to snack? Takis
What is your favorite movie? The Hangover.
What is your favorite professional team? Buffalo Bills.
