Erie, PA- A slow start by the Pioneers sees the Lions take the 8-1 victory. Jena Schelble tallied her fifth goal of the season as the Pioneers fell to 3-7-2 on the season.
Kate Sproul would get credit for the loss, but she tallied four saves on the night.
The Lions would jump out to a 6-0 in the first period. Behrend tallied one more goal in the second period, before the Pioneers found the back of the net. In the 72nd minute, Schelble would score the Pio's lone goal to cut the deficit to 7-1.
From there the Lions scored another goal to secure the win.
