Eight Named USCAA All-Academic

Eight Alfred State fall student-athletes have earned All-Academic Team honors from the USCAA. To qualify for All-Academic status a student-athlete must be an upperclassmen with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Four women's soccer players headline the Alfred State group of honorees. Alexis Flint (Arkport) was honored for the second straight year along with Jessica Baier (Greece Athena), McKenzie Miller (Belfast) and Lacee Hill (Friendship).

Men's soccer player Mitchell Porter (Alfred Almond) was honored for the second straight season. Cross country runner Kyle Glaub (West Seneca East), volleyball player Madison Szpaicher (Ellicottville), and football player Justin Rose (Ellenville) were also honored.

The announcement of the USCAA All-Academic teams are made in conjunction with the championship of each sport.
