Game Notes:

  • The Pioneers and Rams battle for the first time as both team's close out the 2014 season.
  • Not much is known about the young Ohio Mid-western program. This is only their second year of football at OMU and the team has played primarily a 4-year school JV schedule.
  • Rasheed Williams has run for at least 100 yards in eight of the Pioneers nine games. He has 1,671 yards and 16 rushing TD's on the season and 2,688 yards and 26 TD's for his two-year career.
  • Six Pioneers will be playing their final game wearing the blue & gold. WB Tavon Moore, Williams, DB/K/P Keegan Phalen, FB Matt Munson, LB Nick DePofi, and RT #75 David Londono.
  • The LB duo of DePofi and Marlon Hernandez have led the team in tackles all season. DePofi has 77 total tackles (42 solo) while Hernandez has 65 (31 solo).
  • The offense could receive a boost with the possible return of Erik Simmons. Simmons leads the team with 394 yards receiving and six touchdowns but has missed the past two weeks.
  • Keys to victory include the team's success at converting on 3rd Downs and stopping their opponents on 3rd down. The offense is converting 34% (44 for 129) on the season while opponents are converting 41% (41 for 115). Opponents are also converting 50% (9 for 18) on 4th downs.
