Tigers Out Last The Pioneers

Rochester, NY- The Alfred State men's basketball team drops a close game against RIT 66-56 as they fall to 2-4 on the season.

Paris Jamison led the way with 20 points. Ryan Rosa scored a season-high 13 points, while grabbing five rebounds. Cody Schneider grabbed 13 rebounds and added six points.

Dylan Perry got the Pioneers offense start with a three. Schneider would score four straight points, before Rosa hit a jumper and Jamison made a layup for the 11-7 lead. After some back-and-forth action, RIT took a one-point lead into half 31-30.

Rosa started the second half with a layup, a few possessions later Jamison added a layup to cut the lead to 37-34. A little bit later in the half, Jamison got a dunk off a Schneider pass to make it a 45-44 game. The Pioneers were able to keep it close before the Tigers went on a 7-0 run to take the 58-51 lead. RIT was able to hold on to that lead to get the win.
