Pioneers Compete at Penn Relays
The Alfred State men's 4x100 relay team competed at the prestigious Penn Relays on Friday afternoon.
The Pioneer quartet of Zach Woodard (South Jefferson), Kyle Jones (Wilson), John Woodworth (LeRoy), and John Adewumi (Bordertown) finished in 44.50. The team was 5th in their heat and finished 62nd out of 78 teams from all levels of the NCAA and NJCAA.
The men's 4x400 relay team also competed but had a couple bad breaks during their race and finished in 3:35.15. Woodard, Jones, Woodworth, and Trevor Stiles (Hornell) competed in the race that featured 67 teams.
