Bialecki Earns AD3I Honor
Alfred State sophomore Catherine Bialecki (Almond) has been named the Association of Division III Independents women's basketball player of the week for the fourth time this season.
Bialecki was named the ACAA Tournament MVP after posting her 14th double-double of the season with 27 points and 21 rebounds in a victory over Pine Manor. The sophomore also added three steals and three blocks for the Pioneers.
Bialecki and the Pioneers are currently in Uniontown, PA for the USCAA Championships. They open up play on Wednesday vs. Rochester (MI) College. Opening tip-off is at 11 a.m.
