10 Wins Lead The Pioneers To Victory On Senior Night

Alfred, NY- The Alfred State women's swimming team took down Hartwick 143-116 on senior night. The Pioneers tallied 10 individual wins on the day.

Mallory O'Keefe got the individual events started with a first-place finish in the 1000 free as she touched the wall in 11:21.36. She followed with a win in the 500 free with a time of 5:29.46.

Alyssa James also picked up two wins, she finished first in the 100 back with a time of 1:05.28, then in the 200 back she swam a 2:23.24 for first place.

Emma Merrick swam a 2:21.85 in the 200 fly for first place. In the 200 breast, she swam a 2:35.06 to take third place. Then in the 200 IM, Merrick took second place with a time of 2:20.94.

Madison Snayczuk won both the 50 free and the 100 free. In the 50, she swam a 24.83 and in the 100 she swam a 55.50. Gabriela Leite finished second in the 50 free, and third in the 100 free.

Mikaela tallied the final individual win in the 200 IM, after swimming a 2:20.31. She also notched a second-place finish in the 100 breast with a time of 1:10.77.

The team of James, O'Keefe, and the Snayczuk sisters won the 200-medley relay with a time of 1:54.17. Then the team of Ma. Snayczuk, Leite, Merrick, and O'Keefe won the 200 free relay with a time of 1:44.40.
