Fezza and Andrews Named #PioneerPinpoint Athletes of the Week

Men's Basketball player Adam Fezza (Southhampton) and wrestler Riley Andrews (York) have been named the Alfred State #PioneerPinpoint athletes of the week.

Fezza wrapped up his four-year career with two solid games this past week. Fezza led the Pioneers with 15 points in a 78-55 victory at Davis on Tuesday and then scored 14 in a tough 76-66 loss to Berkeley. Fezza shot 47.8% for the week and led the team with 29 points. He finished his senior campaign with 145 points, 52 rebounds, and 25 assists.

Andrews was 3-0 and won the 235 lb. weight class at the 2016 USCAA Championships. He defeated Steven Francisco (Apprentice) in the championship match. Andrews and George VanValen (Ithaca) became just the second and third Pioneers to claim USCAA titles. The Pioneers finished 4th at the 11 team tournament.
