The Alfred State baseball team was held to just four hits in a 10-0 loss to Rutgers-Camden on Wednesday afternoon. The Scarlet Raptors improve to 4-3 on the year with the victory.
Rutgers-Camden scored runs in each of the first three innings and took a 6-0 lead. That was enough for Tommy Potts who threw a complete game four hitter. He walked just one and struck out five.
Cullen Franz (Cazenovia) was 2 for 3 for the blue & gold.
Alfred State takes on Hamilton College in a DH on Thursday. First pitch is slated for 1:30 p.m.
