Key matchup: The Pioneers head into their second to last game of the 2012 season looking to snap a three-game slide in which the team has struggled offensively, just 14.7 points per game.

The Pioneers best two offensive plays last week were kick returns, an 83-yard return for a touchdown by Shawn Charles and a 32-yard return by Collin Frazer. Charles has two kickoff returns for a score while Frazer has two punt returns for a score.

Onondaga is a member of the National Club Football Association. They have are an independent but have earned victories from teams in three conferences, Great Lakes, Mid-Atlantic, and North Atlantic.

Michael Gibson and David Howell have had solid seasons anchoring the linebacker core. They have combined for 99 tackles and four sacks on the season.

The Pioneers need to improve on their turnover ratio (-5) and there 3rd down conversion rate (22 for 95) to get the offense producing more points.

  • Alfred State head coach Mick Caba will be honored at halftime for being inducted into the NJCAA Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame. He will receive his Hall of Fame plaque.
