Fanning and Frazier Honored by Region and Alfred State

Karley Fanning (Rochester/Bishop Kearney) and Collin Frazier (Woodbridge, VA) have been named the Region III athletes of the week and the Alfred State athletes of the week.

Fanning led the Lady Pioneers to a 3-0 record and the title at the SUNY Delhi Tournament.  She averaged 17.7 points per game and 6.3 rebounds.  She had 10 points and 13 rebounds vs. Broome CC, 17 points and seven rebounds vs. Sullivan County, and 23 points and seven rebounds vs. Delhi.  For her solid effort in the Delhi Tournament, Fanning was named the MVP.

Frazer was a key factor defensively and offensively in the Pioneers 34-20 victory over the Onondaga Ogres.  He intercepted two passes and recorded five tackles.  He returned one interception 55-yards for a score.  He also returned the opening kickoff of the game 82-yards for a score.

Fanning and the Lady Pioneers travel to SUNY Orange on Saturday while the Pioneer football team wraps up their season vs. Hudson Valley CC on Saturday at Noon.
