Men's Indoor Track Ranked #3 in Mideast Rankings

The Alfred State men's indoor track & field team is ranked #3 in the initial USTFCCCA Mideast Rankings. The Pioneers have earned 159.16 points thus far this season.

The Pioneers are led by Paul Kemsley (Lancaster). He is currently ranked 23rd in NCAA DIII in the weight throw with a toss of 17.15 m (56'3.25"). Seven heptathletes are in the top 50 in the rankings as well led by Tim Berry (Midlakes) who is ranked 27th with a point total of 3,858 from the Mike Kowal Multi. Andrew Ruebenstahl (Washingtonville) is ranked 30th, Cameron Howard (Brockport) is ranked 36th, Derek Stein is 38th, Jesse Johnson 39th, Nickolas Brown (Wellsville) 40th, and Jonathan Knack is 42nd.

Johns Hopkins leads the Mideast Rankings followed by Salisbury, Alfred State, Wesley, Moravian, Stevenson, Swarthmore, Penn State Harrisburg, Dickinson, and Eastern.

The team is set to compete this weekend at the Brockport Invitational. The multi athletes will compete tonight and tomorrow while the rest of the team starts action tomorrow at 10 a.m. 

The next USTFCCCA Rankings will be released on Tuesday.
