CSAC Releases All-Academic Team
The Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) has named a total of 562 student-athletes from the conference's ten core and six associate member institutions to the Winter and Spring 2023 CSAC All-Academic Team.
The All-Academic Team recognizes varsity student-athletes who achieved a grade point average of 3.20 or better during the Spring 2023 semester. Sports that were recognized in the winter and spring included: men's basketball, women's basketball, men's volleyball, men's outdoor track & field, women's outdoor track and field, men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse, women's tennis, softball, and baseball.
Of the 562 student-athletes honored for the Spring semester, a total of 316 have received recognition at least once, and 86 seniors and graduate students have earned the honor each semester they have been eligible.
Alfred State is an associate member of the CSAC, along with fellow AMCC member, Penn. St.- Behrend. The Pioneers competed in the CSAC conference for Men's and Women's Track and Field.
In total, 22 Alfred State Track & Field student-athletes were named to the All-Academic Team:
