Six Pioneers Named NWCA Scholar All-Americans
The NWCA has announced the 2022-23 Scholar All-America Team and Individual honorees for NCAA Division III, with 369 individuals from 88 institutions receiving awards.
NWCA Executive Director Mike Moyer praised the student-athletes, stating, "I am honored to recognize these outstanding individuals who have excelled not only in their athletic pursuits but also in their academic endeavors."
Six Alfred State Wrestlers recieved recognition.
Blake Ilges- Ilges is the first 3x honoree in Alfred State Wrestling program history.
Anthony Miraglia- This is Miraglia's second time earning the award.
Justin Smith- This is Smith's second time earning the award.
The Pioneers have now had 18 total honorees since 2020 earn this prestigous award.
