Lady Pioneers 13th at USCAA Nationals

The Alfred State women's cross county team finished 13th at the USCAA National Championships hosted by SUNY ESF at Drumlins Golf Club.

Kim Lupo (Auburn) led the Lady Pioneers with a 41st place finish.  She ran the 6k course in 27:23.8.  Kelly Healy (Maple Hill) was 67th (28:53.0), and Mikaela Shaw (Attica) was 77th (29:21.2).

Leah Foley (Marion) was 4th in for the blue & gold with a 111th place finish (32:23.4) and Katherine Gelser (Keshequa) was 119th (33:33.3).

The Lady Pioneers scored a 316 in the competition.  Daemen College was the team champion with 51 followed by SUNY ESF (89), Dallas (132) Dine College (135), and Cleary College (151).

146 athletes completed the course and 17 colleges fielded full teams.
