Padley and Hanss Named #PioneerPinpoint Athletes of the Week
Volleyball player Jessica Padley (Sweet Home) and cross country runner Jacob Hanss (East Rochester) have been named the Alfred State #PioneerPinpoint Athletes of the Week.
Padley helped the Lady Pioneers to a 3-1 week to up their record to 22-4 on the season. She collected 27 kills, 35 digs, and three service aces this past week. She led the Lady Pioneers with 10 kills vs. Canton. On the year, she has has 148 kills and 179 digs.
Hanss raced to a 25th place finish at the NYS Championships. He crossed the finish line of the 8k course in 27:06.2. Hanss has been the second Pioneer to finish in five of the six races this season.
