Volleyball Climbs to #2
The Alfred State volleyball team climbed up to #2 in the newest USCAA poll. The Lady Pioneers are 15-1 on the season.
Defending champion Florida College holds on to the #1 ranking with 359 points. Alfred State is 2nd with 345 points. SUNY Canton (339), Rochester College (328), Bereak (323), Maine Fort Kent (317), Carlow (314), Penn State Brandywine (304), SUNY Delhi (302), and St. Mary of the Woods (299) round out the top ten.
Alfred State qualified for the USCAA National Championships last year. The bids for the 2015 Championships to be held at SUNY Canton will be announced on October 27th.
The Lady Pioneers head down cross country rival Houghton tomorrow to participate in a tri-match with the Highlanders (11 a.m.) and SUNY Geneseo (1 p.m.).
