Lady Spikers Ranked #3 in USCAA Poll

The undefeated Alfred State volleyball team is ranked #3 in the first USCAA poll of the 2015 season. The Lady Pioneers, 12-0 heading into action this evening, finished 4th at the 2014 USCAA Championships.

Defending champion Florida College (10-3) is on top of the poll with 359 points. Rochester College, the national runner-up in 2014, is 2nd with 352. Alfred State sits in 3rd with 348 points.

Johnson & Wales-Charlotte is 4th followed by Carlow (PA), SUNY Canton, Maine Fort Kent, Penn State Mont Alto, SUNY Delhi, and Penn State Fayette.

The Lady Spikers have future contests vs. Canton, Maine Fort Kent, and Delhi on their schedule. Alfred State is the lone member of the USCAA without a loss.

This weekend, Alfred State competes at the Lycoming Tournament. They will compete vs. Wilkes and Lycoming this evening and CCNY and Misericordia on Saturday.
