Godfrey and Thiel Named #PioneerPinpoint Athletes of the Week
Sophomore cross country runner Lindsey Thiel (Liverpool) and sophomore volleyball player Bryanna Godfrey (Tioga) have been named the Alfred State #PioneerPinpoint athlete of the week.
Thiel led the Lady Pioneers with a 7th place finish at the Houghton Highlander Invitational. She crossed the finish line of the 5k course in 21:16.03. The Lady Pioneers finished 4th in the competition.
Godfrey was key as the Lady Spikers finished 5-0 this past week and improve to 11-0. This week she registered 34 kills, 18 digs, and five aces in 11 sets played. Godfrey averaged 3.09 kills per set. On the year, Godfrey has 83 digs, 82 kills, and 20 aces.
