Alfred State to Allow Fans at Outdoor Events Starting April 2nd

Alfred State will begin allowing a limited amount of fans to attend outdoor home athletic events starting on Friday, April 2nd. The athletic department will follow the guidelines announced by Governor Cuomo yesterday.

Alfred State Fan Attendance Policy - effective Friday, April 2nd

  • Fans will be permitted on a first come, first serve basis until maximum occupancy is reached. 
  • Fans are mandated to wear masks, social distancing, and no access will be granted for anyone with COVID-19 symptoms. There will be signage at entry gates detailing these guidelines. 
  • Access to events granted no sooner than sixty (60) minutes before start time. 

Soccer – Open to students and two (2) fans per student-athlete for both home and away teams. Maximum capacity 200 fans. 

Baseball/Softball – Open to students and two (2) fans per student-athlete for both home and away teams. Parts of the bleachers designated for overflow seating for teams leaving limited seating for fans. Maximum 200 fans in attendance. Fans recommended to bring their own chairs

Track & Field – Open to students and two (2) fans per student-athlete for both home and away teams. Maximum capacity 200 fans. 

Per AMCC policy there will be no fans allowed at any home indoor events
