Swimmers Wrap up Regular Season at Geneseo

The Alfred State swimming and diving team wrapped up the regular season with a strong performance at the Geneseo Invitational. The women's team finished 3rd with 215 points while the men were 4th with 161 points.

Alley Sell (Hanover, PA) continued her impressive sophomore season with three strong performances. She won the 100 breast (1:10.76), finished 4th in the 200 IM (2:19.06), and finished 5th in the 200 breast (2:42.26).

Ethan Dale (Lock Haven) was 6th in the 1,000 (11:19.89), Tim Olin (Perry) was 7th in the 50 free (23.47) and 8th in the 100 back (2:12.97), and Bryce Cutler (Newton, NJ) was 7th in the 100 back (1:00.09).

Elizabeth Drake (Lansing) was 6th in the 1,000 (12:51.82) and Kaileigh Lehman (Lowville/Beaver River) was 6th in the 200 breast (2:50.93).

In the diving competition, Rebecca Stevens (Wellsville) was 4th in the 1m (183) and 5th in the 3m (178.75) while Nick Beach (Canandaigua) was 5th in both the 1m (209.70) and 3m (202.70).

The Pioneers will now shift their focus to the four-day AMCC Championships which begin on February 8th at Penn State Behrend.
