Swim Team Opens up AMCC Championships
The Alfred State swimming team opened up competition at the AMCC Championships on Wednesday evening. The women's team sits in 4th after day one while the men are 5th.
The women's 800 free relay team of Myriah Perry (Canisteo Greenwood), Josey Brewer (Letchworth), Megan Hendershot (Brockport), and Elizabeth Drake (Lansing) finished 4th in 9:09.12.
On the men's side, Bryce Cutler (Newton, NJ), Tyler La Flamm (Mexico), Ryan McDowell (Gananda), and Ethan Dale (Lock Haven, PA) finished 5th in the 800 free relay.
Competition continues tomorrow morning with preliminary action at 10 a.m. Diving is slated for 1 p.m. and the finals will begin at 6 p.m.
