Warriors Down Pioneers
The Lycoming wrestling team earned their 10th dual match victory of the season with a 44-0 victory over Alfred State on Thursday evening.
The Warriors won all nine matches on the evening and earned a forfeit victory at 141 lbs.
The match of the night was the 184 lb. battle between Greg Wetzel and Conner Fox (Midlakes). Wetzel won the tight contest 11-8. The heavyweight contest between Matthew Boom and Quasar Hampton (South Bronx) came down to the final seconds with Bloom winning 3-0 with a late takedown to seal the victory.
The Pioneers head to RIT for a 1 p.m. match with the Tigers on Saturday afternoon.
