Oswego Blanks Lady Pioneers

The SUNY Oswego women's soccer team blanked Alfred State 3-0 in a Sunday afternoon battle.  The Lady Lakers held a 27 to 3 shot advantage in the contest.

Erin Harding scored the lone goal of the 1st half (30th minute) when she scored from the top left of the box after getting a pass from Tia Segretto.

Nikki Liadka made it 2-0 in the 60th minute when she found the bottom right corner of the net.  Georgia Traynor picked up the assist.  15 minutes later, Segretto added an insurance goal after getting a pass from Jill Keevil.

Emily Varonier made one save to earn the shutout for Oswego (4-2) while Krista DeCarlo (West Islip) made six saves in net for the blue and gold (3-2)

The Lady Pioneers return home on Wednesday when they host Cazenovia for a 5 p.m. start.
