The Pioneers Tallied Multiple Top-20 Finishes

Selinsgrove, PA- The Alfred State women's indoor track and field team competed at the River Hawk Invite.

Oli finished second in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:03.51, while Isabelle Popoff notched a third-place finish in the 800-meter run.

In the 3000-meter run, Hailey Kumpf ran 12:34.39 for 11^th place and Olivia Plummer finished in 13:57.09 for 12^th place.

In the 60-meter hurdles, Charis Evans crossed the line in 12.10 for fifth place.

In the 4x400 relay, the team of Evans, Popoff, Plummer, and Kraynik finished in fifth place with a time of 4:51.66.

Looking at the field events, starting with the Pole Vault, Laura Walter and Kraynik finished in a five-way tie for fifth with a jump of 2.70 meters. Then in the long jump Madison Snayczuk notched a 4.71-meter jump for seventh, while Laura Walter jumped 4.25 meters for 10^th place.

In the throwing events, Jileena Stearns finished 21^st in shot put with an 8.51-meter throw. Jaelyn Benjamin followed with a 6.24-meter throw. In the weight throw events, Mackenzie Gillette notched a 9.12-meter throw for 17^th place, followed by Stearns in 20^th with a throw of 7.44 meters.
