Pioneers Place Six In The Top-10 At RIT

Rochester, NY- Alfred State women's track and field notched six top 10 finishes at the RIT Friday Night Meet.

Sarah Rivet started the night with a third place finish in the 200 meter dash with a 28.09. 

Oli Kraynik followed with a first place finish in the 400 meter dash with a time of 61.69. Rivet crossed the line with a 64.74 to claim another third place finish. Kraynik moved into third all time with the win.

Olivia Plummer came in 10th in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:48.90.

Izzy Popoff run a 5:52.84 in the mile for seventh place. With that time Popoff moves into 10th all time in the mile run. 

In the field events, Kraynik finished in a two way tie for sixth in the pole vault, with a jump of 2.80 meters.
