Football Picked 6th in ECFC Poll
The Alfred State football team has been picked to finish 6th in the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) poll. The poll was voted on by the league's seven head coaches.
Alfred State will be playing in its second season in the ECFC and garnered 12 points in the poll. Two-time defending ECFC Champions, Husson University, earned the top spot on the poll, receiving six, first-place votes and 48 total points.

After four non-conference games to start the season the Pioneers begin ECFC play on September 29th at Dean College. They then host the top two teams in the preseason poll Maritime and Husson. After a week off they travel to Gallaudet, host Anna Maria, and finish off the season with a trip to Castleton. Last season the Pioneers were 1-6 in ECFC action.
