Swim Team Wraps up Season at Geneseo
The Alfred State swimming team wrapped up the 2014-15 season with several strong performances at the Geneseo Invitational. The men's team finished 5th while the women finished 6th.
John Paul Holubek (Wayland Cohocton) led the Pioneers with a 2nd place finish in the 1,000 free (11:15.73) and a 5th place finish in the 200 breast (2:35.13). Bryce Cutler (Newton, NJ) was 4th in the 200 back (2:09.47), 4th in the 100 back (59.32), and 6th in the 200 IM (2:11.03).
Tim Seitzinger (Bel Air, MD) was 4th in the 200 fly (2:20.11) and Alex Ciolek (Orchard Park) was 8th in the 200 back (2:24.03).
Eryn Cochran (Alfred) was 6th in the 100 breast (1:17.58), 6th in the 200 IM (2:36.72), and 7th in the 200 breast (2:45.11) on the women's side. Nikole Williams was 8th in the 100 back (1:26.16).
Geneseo took home both the men's and women's titles.
