Junior Tommy Hutson (Brooklyn/Susan McKinney) netted 18 points for Alfred State but the Pioneers fell 101-72 to Keuka in the consolation game of the RIT Tournament.
Hutson was 5 for 10 from the field and connected on 6 of 10 foul shots to lead the way. Tavon Moore (Syracuse/Bishop Grimes) had another solid game with 16 points and was named to the All-Tournament team. Bradley Ferarro (Mt. Morris) campe off the bench and chipped in nine.
Trevor Healey led the Storm with 25 points and 11 rebounds while Jared Wagner added 19.
The Pioneers trailed 45-30 at halftime and never could get any closer.
Alfred State plays their first home game of the season on Tuesday when they host Nazareth at 8 p.m.
