Jordyn Rousselle scored 2:28 into the second overtime as Elmira defeated Alfred State 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.
Rousselle took a pass from Amy Sullivan who split a defender to set up the one on one with the goalie.
Elmira held a 22 to 10 shot advantage in the contest including a 14 to 6 advantage in the second half and the overtime sessions.
Gabe Carmona made seven saves to record the shutout victory while Allison Danielak (Brockport) made 12 saves for Alfred State.
The Lady Pioneers are right back at it tomorrow when they travel to SUNY ESF for a 4 p.m. battle with the Might Oaks. ESF is currently ranked #2 in the USCAA while Alfred State is #5.
