Cross Country Begins Season at Houghton

The Alfred State men's cross country team began their season today at Houghton, on the Highlander Short Course. The Blue and Gold ran the 4k course.

Mamadou Barry led the Pioneers with a time of 13:41.99, good enough for 69th place.

Andrew Zielinski finished in 80th place with a time of 13:52.48

Maxwell Chiarella finished in 89 place with a time of 14:09.63

Jayden Kamp finished in 14:32.89, good enough for 98th place.

Jeremy Pennock, Carter Riley, Aiden Bonomo, Christian Spreizer and Schreiber Connor all finished within two minutes of eachother. Their times ranged from 15:54.97  to 17:35.80.

The Pioneers are back in action on Saturday, September 16 at the Yellow Jacket Invite in Rochester.
