Hubick Earns USCAA Honor

Alfred State senior safety Steven Hubick (Fountain Hills, AZ) has been named the USCAA Defensive Player of the Week.

Hubick had a big day for the Pioneers defense in their contest vs. Apprentice. He led the team with 16 tackles with seven of those being solo. He also had one tackle for a loss. Hubick leads the team through five games with 60 total tackles.

Turner Paxton (Apprentice) was named the special teams player of the week and Jeremy Gomez (Iowa Wesleyan) was named the offensive player of the week.

Hubick is the second Pioneer football player to earn USCAA honors this season. Zack Goodwin was named the special teams player of the week two weeks ago.
