Michael Cunningham scored three 1st half goals as Roberts Wesleyan defeated Alfred State 6-0 on Thursday evening. The Redhawks, a member of Division II of the NCAA, finished with a 26 to 4 shot advantage in the contest.
Cunningham scored goals in 4th, 7th, and 32nd minute to give Roberts Wesleyan the early 3-0 lead. Damien Pagano, Ben Porpilla, and Scott Carson all scored in the 2nd half for the Redhawks.
The Pioneers (0-2) are in action again on Saturday when they host their first home game of the season vs. Wells. The match is slated for a 1 p.m. start at Pioneer Stadium.
