Armstrong and Dale Honored by AMCC
Alfred State sophomore Payton Armstrong (Highland Mills/Monroe-Woodbury) and Ethan Dale (Lock Haven, PA) have earned AMCC Swimmer of the Week honors after the Pioneers downed Penn State Altoona on Saturday.
Armstrong was a triple event winner to pace the women's team to a victory over Penn St. Altoona. She won the 50 back (34.73), the 50 fly (30.92), and the 100 back (1:11.18). She was also part of the winning 200 medley relay in 2:06.46.
Dale also won three individual events vs. Altoona. He won the 50 breast (30.68), the 100 breast (1:05.76), and the 200 IM (2:09.34). Dale was also part of the winning 200 medley relay team that finished in 1:47.97.
