Pfleghardt Named USCAA All-American

Alfred State junior outside hitter Kay Pfleghardt (Tioga) has been named an honorable mention USCAA All-American following a solid campaign for the 17-13 Pioneers.

Pleghardt appeared in 62 games this year and led the team with 188 kills (3.03 per game).  She also chipped in 114 digs and 23 service aces.  Pfleghardt recorded more than 10 kills in eight matches and had a season high 17 kills in a five-game victory over Alfred University.

During the 2012 season, Pfleghardt was named 1st team All-Region and 2nd team All-WNYAC after recording 422 kills, 326 digs, and 43 aces.

In her freshmen year, she recoreed 278 kills, 324 digs, and 29 aces and was named 3rd team All-WNYAC.

For her career Pfleghardt has 888 kills, 764 digs, and 95 service aces.

Pfleghardt is the 1st Lady Pioneer to be honored by the USCAA.
