Track Team Competes at Ithaca
Angel Bresnahan (Mexico), Lindsey Thiel (Liverpool), and Brianna Byrnes (Jordan Elbridge) all recorded Alfred State top ten performances as the Pioneers competed at the Ithaca Invitational.
- Bresnahan was 8th in the long jump and her leap of 5.09 improves her personal indoor best and is 4th all time.
- Thiel was 10th in the 5,000 crossing the finish line in 19:34.93, 3rd best in school history.
- Byrnes was 14th in the 1,000 m in 3:26.63 which is 8th best in school history.
On the men's side, Eric Hulbert (Mexico) was 12th in the 5,000 (16:25.26), Timothy Coburn (Dansville) was 15th in the shot put (12.04 m), and the 4x200 relay team finished 8th in 1:58.25.
The Pioneers head to Brockport in two weekends for their final regular season meet of the indoor season.
