Trio Competes at NYS Multi

A trio of Alfred State athletes competed in day one events at the New York State Championship multi on Sunday afternoon at St. Lawrence. 

Jake Hawley (Susquehanna) is in 7th place after the first five events of the decathlon with 2,361 points. His highest point total came in the 100 (12.29 - 595 points). He also scored 527 points in the 400 (56.85) and 464 points in the high jump (1.60 m).

Brandon Teboe (Falconer) is in 10th place with 2,247 points. He scored 549 points in the 100 (12.54) and 458 points in the shot put (9.54 m).

In the heptathlon, Holly Fiore (Niagara Falls) is in 14th after the first four events with 1,760 points. She scored 566 points in the 200 (28.84) and 419 points in the shot put (8.30 m).

The second day of the multi event will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday morning.
