Men's Track 15th at Westminster

The Alfred State men's track & field team finished 15th out of 25 teams that scored at the Westminster Invitational on Saturday.

The Pioneer duo of Jacob Hanss (East Rochester) and Eric Hulbert (Mexico) led the way for the blue & gold in the steeplechase. Hanss finished 2nd in 9:57.62 while Hulbert was 6th in 10:14.41. Hanss was nearly 11 seconds faster than his PR while Hulbert was four seconds faster.

Joseph Richardson (Geneva) also had a solid day. He was 9th in the triple jump (12.71 m) and 25th out of 69 in the long jump (5.90 m).

On the women's side Angel Bresnahan (Mexico) led the way . She was 13th out of 49 in the long jump (4.85 m), 26th out of 55 in the 100 (13.42), and 29th out of 62 in the 200 (28.22).

Several members of the track team will head to Bucknell tomorrow to compete in the 4x800 relay while the rest of the team will next compete at Houghton College on Wednesday afternoon.
