Men 9th, Women 12th in First NYSCTC Poll

The Alfred State men's cross country team is tied for 9th in the first NYSCTC poll of the season. The women's team is ranked 12th.

The men's team is coming off a 1st place finish at the Alfred St. Invitational. Eight Pioneers finished in the top ten of the race. The University of Rochester is on top of the rankings followed by St. Lawrence, Rensselaer, and RIT.

The Lady Pioneers finished 2nd at the Alfred St. Invitational after three runners finished in the top 10. St. Lawrence holds the top spot followed by RIT, Ithaca, and Hamilton.

Alfred St. is back in action on Saturday at the Brockport Invitational.
