Rusek Named #PioneerPinpoint Athlete of the Week

Alfred State junior cross country runner Jordan Rusek (Williamsville East) has been named the #PioneerPinpoint Athlete of the Week. Rusek finished 7th at the 2014 USCAA Championships on Friday.

Rusek finished the 8k course in 27:50.7 (5:34.5 per mile). His finish was 1:09 faster than his time in the 2013 championships held at the same course. With his 7th place finish Rusek earned 1st team USCAA All-American honors.

The Pioneer men finished 3rd at the USCAA Championships, one place higher than their 4th place finish in 2013.
