Quartet of Pioneers Named to AMCC Sportsmanship Team

A quartet of Pioneers have been named to the AMCC Sportsmanship Team. All institution sport teams which compete for an AMCC championship may select one member from their team who displays good sportsmanship throughout the season to be a member of the All-AMCC Sportsmanship Team.
Wonica and Lovell Named All-AMCC

Alfred State softball players Kailey Wonica (Staten Island/Moore Catholic) and Krista Lovell (Addison) have been named All-AMCC. Wonica was a 2nd team selection at second base while Lovell was a 3rd team selection at first base.
Season Comes to an End in the Quarterfinals

The Alfred State softball team saw their season come to an end in the AMCC Quarterfinals on Monday. The Pioneers fell 9-1 and 10-2 to #1 Penn State Behrend.

Pioneers Advance to Quarterfinals with Sweep of Hilbert

The Alfred State softball team advanced to the AMCC Quarterfinals with a sweep of a best of three series vs. Hilbert on Thursday afternoon. The Pioneers used timely hitting to earn 4-2 and 9-3 victories over the Hawks.
Pioneers to Host Hilbert in AMCC Tournament Play-In Series

The Alfred State softball team will host Hilbert in the 2021 AMCC Tournament Play-In Series. The Pioneers earned the #8 seed and will take on the #9 seed Hawks on Thursday afternoon at Pioneer Field.
Softball at Houghton Cancelled

The Alfred State softball doubleheader scheduled for tomorrow (4/30) has been cancelled. Rainy weather and cold forecasted temperatures has forced the cancellation.
Pioneers Collect 32 Hits in Sweep of Hilbert

The Alfred State softball team collected 32 hits and 21 runs as they closed AMCC regular season play with a sweep of Hilbert. They won the opener 8-4 and held on for a wild 13-12 victory in the nightcap.
Wonica Named AMCC Player of the Week

Kailey Wonica (Staten Island/Moore Catholic) has been named the AMCC Player of the Week after collecting hits in all six of Alfred State's games this past week.
Pioneers Battle at Greensburg

The Alfred State softball team wrapped up a weekend road trip at Pitt-Greensburg on Sunday. The Bobcats were able to earn the sweep with 8-6 and 10-2 victories.
Pioneers Score 13 in Nightcap to Earn Split at LaRoche

The Alfred State softball team split a road AMCC doubleheader at LaRoche on Saturday afternoon. The Pioneers took the nightcap, 13-10, after falling in the opener 3-2.

Kailey Wonica (Staten Island/Moore Catholic) collected five hits as Alfred State battled Penn State Behrend on a chilly Tuesday afternoon. The Lions took both games 9-1 and 14-1.
Mounties Defeat the Pioneers

Mt. Aloysius put together an all-around solid effort as they swept a doubleheader from Alfred State on Sunday afternoon. The Mounties withstood a late Pioneer rally in a 8-6 victory in the opener and then took the nightcap 10-0.
