The Alfred State men's soccer team erased a 2-0 deficit and rallied for a 3-2 victory over Hilbert on Tuesday afternoon.  The game was a make-up contest after the original contest was postponed due to poor field conditions.

Hilbert scored two goals in the first 14:35 of the contest to take an early lead.  Philip Smith (Odessa Montour) scored at the 23:40 mark after getting a pass from Anthony Prete (Arkport).  The goal was the first on the year for Smith.

Kyle Jones (Wilson) scored twice within five minutes of the 2nd half to take the lead.  Jones' first goal was assisted by Smith and his second by Colby Wright (Livonia).  Jones now has a team high seven goals on the season.

Nick Smith (Arkport) made six saves for the victory.

Alfred State travels to Houghton on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. battle with the Highlanders.
