Jones named Athlete of the Week

Alfred State sophomore men's soccer player Kyle Jones (Wilson) has been named Alfred State Athlete of the Week by the SID office.  Jones scored two goals this week as the Pioneer men's soccer team finished 2-2.

Jones, the team's leading scorer, scored both of his goals in the 3-2 come from behind victory over Hilbert.  Jones scored twice in a span of five minutes in the second half to erase a 2-1 deficit in the victory.

Jones has found the back of the net seven times on the season.

Alfred State is back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Keuka College for a 7 p.m. contest with the Storm.
