Markel and Porter Named to USCAA National All-Academic Team

Joseph Markel (Arkport) and Mitchell Porter have been named to the USCAA National All-Academic Team at ceremonies held in conjunction with the 2013 USCAA National Championships in Charleston, WV.

Student-athletes earn All-Academic honors from the USCAA by being an upperclassmen who has earned a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher over the course of their academic career. 

Markel, a senior financial planning major, has accumulated a 3.82 GPA during his time at Alfred State while Porter, a sophomore sport management major, has a 3.73 GPA.
