Pioneers Notched 11 Top-10 Finishes At Brockport

Brockport, NY- The men's track and field team tallied 11 top-10 finishes.

In the 800-meter final, Mamadou Barry came in fifth after running a 2:01.69. Then in the long jump, Patrick Puffer had a best jump of 6.22 meters to take fifth place. In the triple jump, Aden Alexander jumped 12.80 meters for third place. While Isaac Rivet jumped 12.40 meters for eighth place.

In the shotput finals, Tyler Lantrip threw 12.46 meters for 10th place. Then in the discus finals, Brandon Russell had a best throw of 40.12 meters for fourth place. Greg Raymond would take eighth in the hammer throw with a best throw of 43.24 meters. In the javelin throw, two Pioneers finished in the top-10. Kyle Kapichok came in seventh with a best throw of 42.00 meters, while Brandon Russell came in 10th with a best throw of 39.78 meters.

In the 4x400, the team of Connor Schriebier, Brian Clark, Kyle Brown, and Barry came in seventh after running a 3:38.32. Then in the 4x100, the team of Nicholas Florczak, Puffer, Rivet, and Mekhi Christensen came in fifth with a time of 44.46.
