Franklin Named ACAA Player of the Week

Morgan Franklin (Wellsville) has been named the ACAA Player of the Week. This is the second straight week a Pioneer has earned the honor.

Franklin, a sophomore outfielder, was 6-for-9 with 5 RBI as the Pioneers swept a pair from ACAA foe Valley Forge on Saturday. She was 4-for-5 with a double, homer, four RBI, and four runs scored in the opener and was 2-for-4 with another RBI and two runs scored in the nightcap. In the doubleheader she collected a .667 on-base and 1.111 slugging percentage.

AlixDeDreu of Thomas More was named the ACAA Pitcher of the Week.

The blue & gold, winners of four straight, are back in action next Thursday when they host Pitt Bradford in a doubleheader starting at 3 p.m.
