Basketball to Host Autism Speaks Night
The Alfred State men's basketball team will be participating in the Coaches Powering Forward for Autism campaign when they host Hilbert on February 1st.
The coaching staff will be wearing blue Autism Speaks puzzle piece pins along with over 300 other NCAA coaches and staff around the country to help increase understanding and acceptance of autism spectrum disorder as an urgent global public health and social issue.
Donations will be accepted at the door and popcorn will be sold for any size donation with all money raised benefit Autism Speaks.
The Pioneers and Hawks tip-off at 7:30 p.m. and will follow the women's contest between the two schools that starts at 5:30 p.m.
